| FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS |
Will WR2RFF screen my film if it has been screened elsewhere?Yes. (And congratulations by the way on getting it screened in other venues). How new does my film need to be to qualify for submission? There are no date restrictions on entries. Can I submit a rough cut?For sure. If my film has premiered in a festival or aired on TV or on the web, am I still eligible?Yes. (And congrats again on getting in into another festival). Are screenplays eligible for the competition?Yes! Story is the backbone to film and we welcome an opportunity to consider your work. (And many congratulations on completing your script!) Do you accept HD or VHS or other formats? No. Only standard DVD – Region 1 or Region 0. Do I need copyright clearance for music and copyrighted material?Absolutely. We are only able to screen movies that have clearance for the entire project. Does my movie have to be a Christian movie? No. While there are varying definitions of “Christian” movies, WR2R is interested in both Christian movies and also movies that are not expressly Christian but feature challenging, encouraging themes that highlight interesting stories. Will I get confirmation that you have received my DVD?Yes. You will also be notified if your film has been selected for the festival. Can I submit online? You can submit through Withoutabox or you can submit via paper/regular mail. My film is low budget. Do I stand a chance?YES!!! Story trumps budget. If you have a great story but not a lot of cash you will be considered for the festival. |
